Vitra Eames LCM Plywood Group Side Chair
For the classic Plywood Group, Eames frequently came up with a number of variations by combining a seat shell with different base frames, including the low, side chair with metal leg base version now known as the LCM.
The LCM chair is the low, side chair version with a unique wooden seat shell and a metal leg base and was often referred to as the 'potato chip chair' thanks to the shape of the backrest and seat.
