The Aeron Stool offers unique features and user benefits not typically found in performance work stools.
The footrest platform, which, at 60mm wide, is three times wider than the typical footring, was specifically designed to provide a large, comfortable area to support your feet.
Please note this stool is only suitable for bench / desk heights over 840 mm (this stool is NOT suitable for standard desk heights).

1. How do I adjust the seat height?
To adjust the seat height:
• Raising the Seat: While not seated, lift the paddle-shaped lever on the right side upward.
• Lowering the Seat: While seated, lift the same lever upward.
Adjust the seat height so your feet rest flat on the footring.
2. How can I modify the recline tension?
The recline tension determines the resistance when leaning back:
• Increase Tension: Turn the knob on the right side of the chair forward (clockwise).
• Decrease Tension: Turn the knob backward (counterclockwise).
Adjust the tension to your personal preference.
3. What sizes are available for the Aeron draughtmans chair?
The Aeron draughtmans chair comes in one size only:
• Size B (Medium): Suitable for those 5’2”–6’ tall
4. How do I adjust the optional lumbar support?
The Aeron chair features an optional adjustable Posturfit SL lumbar support:
• Depth Adjustment: The pads can be pushed forward or backwards with the wheels at the back of the chair.
5. Where can I purchase replacement parts?

6. What is the warranty on the Aeron chair?
Herman Miller offers a 12-year warranty covering parts and labour for the Aeron chair, applicable when purchased from an authorised retailer, such as Wellworking.
7. How do I clean and maintain the Aeron chair?
To clean the chair:
• Pellicle Mesh: Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. For stains, apply a solution of mild soap and warm water with a soft cloth, then rinse and dry.
• Frame and Base: Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly.
8. Is assembly required for the Aeron workstool?
The Aeron comes fully assembled, unless requested in knock down form.

12. What is the difference between the Aeron chair and the Draughtmans chair?
The standard chair is designed for standards height desks (approx. 70 - 74 cm high), the work stool is designed for desks or benches over 84cm only.
