What is the Relate Side Table?
A refined side table featuring two parallel surfaces joined by a slender, graphic C‑shaped leg. It offers a modern visual tone and perfectly fits beside a sofa—ideal to be used as a mini “hot desk”—or anywhere you need a stylish surface.
Who designed it and when did it debut?
Designed by BIG‑GAME, the award‑winning Swiss studio founded by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Elrec Petit and Grégoire Jeanmonod. The Relate debuted in 2019 for Muuto.
What finishes and sizes are available?
Offered in two heights:
- 24 in (approx 60.5 cm)
- 29 in (approx 73.5 cm)
Available in a choice of finishes including linoleum, oak or smoked oak veneers and solid oak options paired with powder-coated steel bases.
The top measures 56.2 cm long × 34 cm deep (22.1″ × 13.4″), with height depending on the variant.

How should it be cared for?
- Linoleum or lacquered MDF tops: Wipe with a damp cloth or mild detergent, dry thoroughly. Use linoleum care 2–3 times yearly for optimal finish.
- Solid oak tops: Treat with suitable wood oil 2–3 times per year; avoid direct exposure to excessive heat, moisture or sunlight; wipe spills immediately to prevent stains.
Does it come assembled?
Yes—this piece is delivered fully assembled, ready to use straight away.
Can I use it as a workspace?
Absolutely—it’s designed to be easily pulled up to low seating such as a sofa or lounge chair, turning it into a convenient pop‑up desk or tray surface.
