B Corp Month is an annual global campaign held every March to celebrate and raise awareness of Certified B Corporations (B Corps) like Wellworking.
We are proud to be a Certified B Corporation®, demonstrating our commitment to prioritising people and the planet over profit.
What Does Being a B Corp Mean?
B Corp certification is a globally recognised mark of businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
It’s not just a badge, it’s a commitment to continuous improvement across five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. With over 9,500 companies worldwide and more than 2,300 in the UK, including brands like The Guardian, Patagonia, and The Body Shop, B Corps are changing the way business operates for the better.
To achieve this certification, Wellworking had to demonstrate tangible actions in areas such as responsible energy use, waste reduction, fair worker compensation, diversity, and corporate transparency. We also legally embedded our commitment to purpose beyond profit into our company articles, ensuring sustainability remains at the heart of our decision-making.
Why It Matters
Being a B Corp isn’t just a marketing exercise, it’s about real, meaningful change.
Customers expect high environmental and social standards from their supply chains, and we’re proud to provide measurable proof of our commitment. At the same time, we hold our suppliers to equally high standards, working collaboratively to drive improvements across the industry. Our colleagues also benefit, knowing they work for a company that values and respects them.
Greener Choice: Making Sustainable Purchasing Easier
One of our key sustainability initiatives is the Greener Choice badge, designed to help customers make informed, responsible purchasing decisions.
Products earning this badge must score highly across eleven sustainability criteria, covering everything from recycled content and durability to fair labour practices and end-of-life recycling options.
We recognise that no manufacturing process is truly zero impact, and sustainability is an evolving challenge. That’s why our criteria will adapt over time to reflect industry advancements, ensuring that we continue to support the best possible choices for the planet and people.
