By accessing or using our websites, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our websites.
Additional terms and policies may apply to certain products, services or features. Where this is the case, we will make this clear and those additional terms will form part of your agreement with us.
3. Who these Terms apply to
These Terms apply to anyone who visits or uses our websites and to customers who place orders through our online checkout.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you benefit from the rights and protections provided by UK consumer law. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, additional or different terms may apply. Where relevant, our Business Terms & Conditions will also form part of your agreement with us.
If you rent products from us, our Rental Terms & Conditions will also apply where relevant.
4. Related Terms and Policies
Depending on how you use our websites or the products and services you purchase, the following documents may also apply:
These documents should be read alongside these Terms where applicable. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any product- or service-specific terms, the product- or service-specific terms will take precedence in relation to that product or service.
5. Using our websites
You may use our websites only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
When using our websites, you agree that you will not:
- use our websites in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our websites, servers or systems;
- introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of our websites;
- use automated software, bots or data scraping tools to copy or extract content from our websites without our prior written permission;
- use our websites in a way that could damage our reputation or interfere with other users' ability to access or use our websites.
We may suspend or restrict access to all or part of our websites if we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached or if it is necessary to protect our systems, customers or business.
From time to time we may suspend access to our websites for maintenance, updates or technical reasons. We will always aim to minimise any disruption.
6. Product information
6.1 Product descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on our websites is accurate and up to date. Product descriptions, specifications and pricing are based on the information available to us at the time of publication.
We may update product information from time to time to reflect changes made by manufacturers, improvements to products or corrections to published information.
6.2 Product images and specifications
Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, the appearance of colours, finishes and materials may vary depending on your screen or device.
Unless stated otherwise, dimensions, weights and other specifications are approximate.
Some products are manufactured using natural materials such as wood, leather or fabric. Variations in colour, grain, texture and finish are a natural characteristic of these materials and should not be regarded as defects.
6.3 Product availability
Many of our products are held in stock and are available for dispatch within the estimated times shown on our websites.
Some products are manufactured to order and may have longer lead times. Estimated lead times are shown on the relevant product page where possible.
If a product becomes unavailable or there is a significant change to the expected lead time after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to discuss the available options, which may include a revised delivery date, a suitable alternative or a full refund.
6.4 Re-Lived® products
Our Re-Lived products have been professionally inspected, and where necessary repaired, before sale.
Because these products have previously been used, they may show signs of previous use consistent with their condition. Where appropriate, significant cosmetic imperfections will be described on the relevant product page.
Unless stated otherwise, Re-Lived products benefit from the same statutory rights as our new products together with any additional warranty or guarantee described on the product page.
6.5 Product suitability & delivery access
We are happy to provide guidance to help you choose suitable products based on the information you provide and our knowledge of our products.
Any guidance or recommendations we provide are intended to help you select suitable products and should not be relied upon as medical, clinical, architectural, design or other professional advice. Unless we have specifically agreed to provide consultancy or assessment services, you remain responsible for ensuring that the products you order are suitable for your intended use and requirements.
If you have a medical condition, injury or other health concern that may affect your seating, posture or workspace requirements, we recommend seeking advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Where appropriate, we may suggest one of our Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments or ergonomic consultancy services to help assess your workplace requirements and identify suitable products.
You are also responsible for ensuring that there is safe and reasonable access for delivery and installation.
If you are unsure about product dimensions, access or suitability, please contact us before placing your order and we'll be happy to help.
7. Placing an order
When you place an order through our online checkout, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
If you place an Order on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and to enter into the Contract on their behalf.
After you place your order, we will send you an email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and Wellworking is formed when we accept your order.
We reserve the right not to accept an order. This may happen, for example, if:
- a product is unavailable;
- we identify an error in the product description, price or other information displayed on our website;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
- we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment;
- we are unable to deliver to the address provided; or
- exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from fulfilling your order.
If we cannot accept your order after payment has been taken, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and refund any payment you have made.
Some products are made to order. Acceptance of these orders may be subject to additional checks or confirmation of availability and lead times. We will keep you informed throughout the process.
If you need to change or cancel an order after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to help, but once an order has been processed or dispatched we may not be able to make changes.
To help us process your order and keep you informed, we may contact you by email, telephone, SMS or using any other contact details you have provided in connection with your order. Please ensure your contact details are accurate and notify us if they change before delivery.
8. Prices and payment
8.1 Prices
All prices shown on our websites are in pounds sterling (£).
Our websites allow you to display product prices either inclusive or exclusive of VAT. The final price payable, including VAT where applicable, will always be shown before you complete your order.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process before you place your order.
8.2 Pricing errors
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on our websites are accurate. However, pricing errors may occasionally occur.
If we discover an obvious error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable. You will have the option to proceed with your order at the correct price or cancel your order and receive a full refund.
8.3 Payment
Unless we have agreed alternative payment terms with you in writing, payment must be made in full when you place your order.
Pre-approved business customers with an agreed credit account may place orders using their agreed payment terms. These arrangements are governed by our Business Terms & Conditions and any separate agreement between you and Wellworking.
We accept the payment methods displayed during the checkout process. Payments are processed securely by our authorised payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
8.4 Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the original payment method.
Unless a different timescale is required by law, we aim to process refunds as soon as reasonably practicable after they have been approved.
9. Delivery
We deliver throughout mainland Great Britain. Delivery options, charges and estimated lead times are shown during the ordering process and may vary depending on the products you purchase and your delivery location.
9.1 Delivery locations
Our standard delivery service is available to addresses in mainland Great Britain.
We may be able to deliver smaller items to certain UK islands using one of our parcel delivery partners. Delivery to these locations is subject to availability and may incur an additional delivery charge. If this applies, we will contact you before accepting your order.
At present, we do not deliver to addresses in Northern Ireland.
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order and we'll be happy to advise you.
9.2 Delivery times
Estimated delivery dates are provided as a guide only. While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timescales, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our reasonable control, including manufacturing delays, supplier issues or unforeseen transport disruptions.
If there is a significant delay to your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to discuss the available options.
9.3 Our delivery service
Many of our products are held in stock and are ready for dispatch within the estimated times shown on our websites.
Other products are manufactured to order by our suppliers and delivered to Wellworking before being inspected, prepared where necessary and dispatched to you. These products may have longer lead times, which will be indicated on the relevant product page where possible.
Smaller products and accessories may be delivered by one of our trusted parcel delivery partners. Furniture and other larger items are normally delivered by Wellworking.
The delivery service included with your order will depend on the products you purchase. Details of the delivery service applicable to each product will be shown on the relevant product page or during checkout.
Where Wellworking delivers your products, we will remove the packaging for recycling before leaving.
9.4 Additional delivery services
Some products may be available with additional delivery services. Where these services are available, they will be described on the relevant product page or during checkout and will form part of your order if selected.
White Glove Delivery
White Glove Delivery is available on selected furniture products.
Unless otherwise stated, White Glove Delivery includes delivery to your chosen room and assembly where applicable, leaving your products ready for use.
Green Glove Delivery
Green Glove Delivery is available on selected office chair products.
In addition to our standard chair delivery service, Green Glove Delivery includes the collection of one existing office chair for recycling or disposal for each new office chair delivered under the same order.
The collection service applies to office chairs only and does not include other types of furniture or household items.
The chair to be collected must be available and reasonably accessible at the time of delivery. If we are unable to safely complete the collection, we may be unable to remove the chair.
9.5 Preparing for your delivery
Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is accurate and that there is safe and reasonable access for delivery.
For deliveries carried out by Wellworking, we will normally email you on the afternoon of the last working day before your scheduled delivery with an estimated one-hour delivery time slot.
To help us provide the best possible service, we recommend providing a contact telephone number when placing your order so that we can contact you if necessary before or during delivery.
If there are any access restrictions or special delivery requirements, please let us know before your delivery date so that we can plan your delivery accordingly.
9.6 Risk and ownership
Responsibility for the products passes to you when they have been delivered to the delivery address you have provided.
Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full, unless we have agreed alternative payment terms with you in writing.
9.7 Delivery issues
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or you believe there is a problem with your delivery, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable so that we can investigate and resolve the issue.
10. Your legal rights (Consumers)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have important rights under UK consumer law.
These include the right to:
- receive products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described;
- cancel many online purchases within the statutory cooling-off period; and
- receive a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where products do not meet the standards required by law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
The following sections explain how to exercise these rights when purchasing from Wellworking.
11. Cancelling your order and returns
11.1 Cancelling your order before delivery
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order has not yet been dispatched or entered the delivery process, we will normally be able to cancel it and issue a full refund.
If your order has already been dispatched, you may still have the right to cancel if you are purchasing as a consumer. Please contact us and we will explain the options available to you.
11.2 Your right to change your mind
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your products without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within the cancellation period.
11.3 Returning your products
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your products.
Once you have notified us, we will arrange collection of the products with you. Collection may take place after the 14-day cancellation period, provided you notified us of your decision to cancel within that period.
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, Wellworking will arrange free collection of products from addresses in mainland Great Britain.
Original packaging is not required. However, we ask that products are made available in a condition that allows them to be transported safely.
You are entitled to inspect products as you would in a retail showroom. However, if a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics or function, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value, as permitted by law.
11.4 Refunds
Once the returned products have been received and inspected, we will process any refund due using your original payment method.
We aim to process refunds as soon as reasonably practicable. Your payment provider may take additional time to credit the funds to your account.
12. Faulty products, warranties and guarantees
12.1 If there is a problem with your product
If you believe your product is faulty, damaged, not as described or has developed a fault, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.
Providing photographs and a description of the issue will often help us investigate and resolve the problem more quickly.
12.2 Your legal rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, your rights in relation to faulty products are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
12.3 Our process
Once you have contacted us, we will investigate the issue and discuss the most appropriate solution with you.
Where appropriate, we may:
- provide replacement parts;
- arrange an inspection;
- repair the product;
- replace the product; or
- arrange collection and provide a refund where appropriate.
The solution offered will depend on the nature of the fault, the age of the product and your legal rights.
Where a repair, replacement or collection is required because of a fault covered by your statutory rights or an applicable warranty, Wellworking will normally arrange this at no additional cost for products located in Great Britain.
If a product has been moved outside Great Britain after delivery, we will work with you to honour any applicable statutory rights or warranty wherever reasonably practicable. However, you may be responsible for any additional transport, shipping or other costs associated with providing warranty support outside Great Britain.
12.4 Product warranties
All products sold by Wellworking are covered by a warranty or guarantee.
Warranty periods and terms vary depending on the product and manufacturer. Warranty details will normally be provided on the relevant product page or supplied with the product.
Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, we will work with you and the manufacturer, where appropriate, to help resolve any issues covered by that warranty.
Your statutory rights are separate from, and are not affected by, any warranty or guarantee provided with your product.
12.5 What your warranty doesn't cover
Warranty cover does not apply to defects or damage resulting from:
- misuse, neglect or accidental damage;
- normal wear and tear consistent with the age and intended use of the Product;
- unauthorised repairs, modifications or alterations; or
- installation or assembly carried out by anyone other than Wellworking or our authorised contractors, where installation by Wellworking formed part of the purchase.
This section does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty products.
13. Accounts and website security
If you create an account on our websites, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities carried out using your account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account or placing an order and to keep your details updated where necessary.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission or your login details have been compromised, please contact us as soon as possible and change your password.
You must not misuse our websites by attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introducing malicious software or interfering with the operation or security of our websites.
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where this is necessary to protect our customers, our business or our systems.
14. Intellectual property

16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.
If you are purchasing as a business, our liability is subject to any additional provisions contained in our Business Terms & Conditions where those Terms apply.
We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform our obligations where these result from events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, our products or services, or to comply with changes in the law or regulatory requirements.

The Terms in force at the time you place your order will apply to your purchase.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation where permitted by law.
