SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

At Wellworking, sustainability is part of how we do business. This policy explains our commitment to responsible business, supporting healthier workplaces and continually improving our environmental and social impact.

1. Our commitment

At Wellworking, we believe helping people work well also means taking responsibility for the impact our business has on the environment and the communities we serve.

Sustainability is part of how we do business. As a Certified B Corporation®, we consider the impact of our decisions on our customers, employees, suppliers, communities and the environment alongside our commercial objectives.

We are committed to continually improving the way we operate and helping our customers make more sustainable workplace choices.

2. Our approach

We believe sustainability is about making responsible decisions that create long-term value.

Our approach focuses on:

  • helping people work well through healthier workplaces and ergonomic solutions;
  • extending the life of products wherever practical;
  • reducing waste and encouraging reuse before replacement;
  • building responsible relationships with customers, suppliers and partners;
  • supporting our employees and local communities; and
  • continually improving our environmental and social performance.

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey and are committed to making meaningful improvements over time.

3. Supporting people

People are at the heart of our business.

We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive and respectful workplace where employees are encouraged to develop, contribute ideas and work collaboratively.

We believe everyone should have fair access to our products, services and digital content. We continually work to improve the accessibility of our website and support inclusive workplaces through the products, services and advice we provide. Further information can be found in our Accessibility Statement.

We also work with customers to create healthier workplaces through ergonomic furniture, workplace assessments and consultancy designed to support wellbeing, comfort and productivity.

4. Protecting the environment

We recognise that our activities have an environmental impact and are committed to reducing that impact wherever practical.

We seek to do this by:

  • extending the life of products through repair, refurbishment and reuse;
  • supporting circular economy principles through initiatives such as our Re-Lived® range;
  • helping customers make informed purchasing decisions through initiatives such as our Greener Choice programme;
  • reducing waste by encouraging reuse and recycling across our operations;
  • improving resource efficiency, including energy, packaging and materials where practical; and
  • continually reviewing opportunities to improve our environmental performance.

We believe that keeping high-quality products in use for longer is one of the most effective ways to reduce environmental impact.

5. Working responsibly

We aim to build long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and partners who share our commitment to responsible business.

Where practical, we work collaboratively to improve sustainability throughout product lifecycles, reduce waste and encourage more responsible procurement.

We are committed to operating with honesty, integrity and transparency, and to supporting ethical practices throughout our supply chain. Further information can be found in our Modern Slavery Statement.

6. Measuring our progress

We believe transparency is an important part of sustainability.

We regularly review our environmental and social performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

As a Certified B Corporation, we assess our performance against recognised standards and publish information about our progress through our annual Impact Report.

7. Continual improvement

Sustainability is an ongoing process rather than a fixed destination.

We will continue to review our policies, operations and decision-making to identify opportunities to reduce our environmental impact, strengthen our social impact and improve the way we do business.

8. Reviewing this policy

We review this policy periodically to ensure it remains appropriate for our business and reflects changes in legislation, best practice and our sustainability objectives.

Further information about our sustainability approach and progress can be found in our annual Impact Report and on the Sustainability section of our website.
