1. Our commitment

Although Wellworking is not currently required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business.

We believe everyone has the right to work freely, safely and with dignity. We are committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all our business relationships and do not knowingly support or tolerate modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking or any other form of exploitation.

2. About Wellworking

Wellworking is a UK workplace furniture and services company, supplying ergonomic furniture, workplace consultancy, Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments, refurbishment, rental and related workplace services.

As a Certified B Corporation®, we are committed to balancing commercial success with positive outcomes for our customers, employees, suppliers, communities and the environment. Our Sustainability Policy sets out our broader approach to responsible business.

We recognise that modern slavery can occur in many industries and countries. While we consider the risk within our own operations to be low, we recognise that some risks may exist within wider supply chains and remain committed to acting responsibly.

3. Working with suppliers

We aim to build long-term relationships with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible business practices.

Many of the products we supply are sourced from established manufacturers with recognised governance and ethical standards. When selecting and working with suppliers, we consider factors including quality, reliability, environmental performance and responsible business practices where appropriate.

If we become aware of concerns relating to modern slavery or labour exploitation within our supply chain, we will investigate those concerns appropriately and consider what action may be necessary.

4. Our employees

We are committed to providing a fair, inclusive and respectful workplace.

We seek to ensure that our employees are recruited fairly, treated with dignity and respect, and work in an environment that supports their wellbeing, development and equal opportunities.

We expect everyone working for or on behalf of Wellworking to uphold our values and comply with applicable laws, including those relating to modern slavery and labour exploitation.

5. Raising concerns

We encourage employees and others working with Wellworking to raise any concerns about suspected unethical behaviour, including modern slavery or labour exploitation.

Concerns will be taken seriously, considered appropriately and investigated where necessary.

6. Continual improvement

We recognise that responsible business requires ongoing review and improvement.

We will continue to consider opportunities to strengthen our approach to responsible procurement, supplier relationships and ethical business practices as our business develops.

This statement forms part of Wellworking's wider commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, as set out in our Sustainability Policy.

7. Reviewing this statement

We review this statement periodically to ensure it remains appropriate for our business and reflects changes in legislation, best practice and our approach to responsible business.
