The Rookie High is designed for benches or work surfaces of around 800 mm and above in height. It is not intended for standard height desks.
What adjustments does it have?

- Foot-ring (steel support) is also vertically adjustable on this high version.
- Ergonomic design details: the backrest flexes slightly under pressure and the front edge of the seat is designed to yield for added comfort.

Width and depth of about 685 mm x 685 mm, with a seat height range approximately 590-835 mm.
What colours or finishes are available?
The frame/shell is available in “Deep Black” or “Soft Grey”. Upholstery choices include a wide palette of fabrics and leather finishes.
What about warranty and delivery?
There is a 10-year warranty and lead time for delivery is around 6-8 weeks.
Is this chair suitable for long hours at a standard desk?
No, the seat height is geared toward higher surfaces (bench/standing height). For a standard desk height (typically 730-760 mm in the UK), you’ll likely need a chair with a lower minimum seat height such as the standard Rookie office chair.
How comfortable is the chair? Does it require a lot of manual tuning?
It’s designed to be simple rather than highly adjustable. Vitra describes it as offering a “high level of immediate comfort with a minimal number of adjustments”.
