Vitra Eames RE DAX Plastic Armchair Fully Upholstered
Eames Plastic DAX Armchairs are from the same family of chairs as the Eames Plastic Side chairs but with increased height in the sides of the chairs to provide built in armrests.
There is additional interior upholstery for increased comfort and it's on a four leg base.
These organically shaped chairs were first created by Charles and Ray Eames in 1950 as part of the New York Museum of Modern Art's "low cost furniture design" competition.
They have evolved from the original design with a variety of different bases and the seat shells are now made from recycled consumer plastic.
