Vitra Tip Ton RE Chair
The Vitra Tip Ton RE Chair is a sustainable evolution of the ever-popular Tip Ton dining chair. It retains the distinctive forward-tilt function and stackable design of the original, but is now manufactured from recycled polypropylene sourced from post-consumer household waste.
The name “Tip Ton” refers to its two sitting positions: a standard upright position and a forward-tilted position. The innovation lies in the specially designed skid base, which rises at a nine-degree angle. When tipped forward, the chair remains stable, encouraging a more upright pelvis and spine position. This active sitting posture helps promote circulation and engagement of the abdominal and back muscles.
Versatile, durable and easy to maintain, the Tip Ton RE is ideal for dining spaces, breakout areas, meeting rooms, schools and occasional home working. Its stackable design also makes it a practical choice for commercial environments. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it combines everyday functionality with strong environmental credentials.
