Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair FAQs
How do I adjust the Mirra 2 Chair for optimal comfort?
• Seat Height: Lift the tab on the lower right side of the seat while taking your weight off the chair to raise it. To lower, lift the tab while seated. Your feet should rest flat on the floor with your upper and lower legs forming a 90-degree angle.
• Seat Depth (FlexFront®): Squeeze the handle under the front of the seat and adjust the seat edge up or down. Release the handle to lock in position. Ensure there’s a minimum of three fingers’ clearance between the back of your knees and the front seat edge.
• Tilt Tension (Harmonic™ Tilt): Turn the knob below the right front side of the seat clockwise to increase tension or counterclockwise to decrease it, adjusting the resistance when reclining.
• Tilt Limiter: Recline and move the vertical tab on the left front side of the seat up to set the recline limit. To release, lean forward and press the lever back.
• Forward Tilt: Recline and flip the horizontal tab on the left front side of the seat down to engage forward tilt, supporting a declined posture during tasks like typing. To release, recline and flip the lever up.
• Arm Adjustments: Adjust arm height by raising the tab on the outside lower base of each arm to unlock, moving the arm to the desired height, and lowering the tab to lock. For arm angle, grasp the front end of the armpad and pivot it inward or outward. To adjust arm depth, grasp the armpad and push it forward or back to the desired position.
• Lumbar Support: Rotate the levers on the lumbar support to loosen, slide it up or down to the desired height, and rotate the levers downward to increase depth or upward to decrease depth.
How do I clean and maintain the Mirra 2 Chair?
• Base, Frame, Butterfly Back™, and Seat Carrier: Clean with a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners.
• Armpads: Clean with a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners.
