Vitra Eames Stools
In 1960, the Eames Office was commissioned by Time Inc. to outfit the interiors of three lobbies in New York's Rockefeller Center. As part of this project, Charles and Ray Eames designed the plush Lobby Chairs and a series of solid walnut stools.
These turned stools, which can also be used as side tables, are differentiated by the distinctive profiles of their shafts.
