The Eames DSW Plastic Side Chair from Vitra, featuring a wooden base, is a contemporary adaptation of the iconic Eames Fiberglass Chair. Initially created in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art’s Low-Cost Furniture Design Competition in New York.
This version is now available with seat shells made from post-consumer recycled plastic, offering an eco-friendly update to a design classic.
With its timeless appeal, the DSW chair enhances any setting. It features a plastic shell, a fully upholstered inner shell for extra comfort, and a base made of maple or ash wood legs with a wire strut design.
Please note, this is an original, authentic Eames chair produced in Europe.
