Artek A811 Floor Lamp
Designed by Alvar Aalto in the 1950s, the A811 lamp is a bold design statement.
The shade of this lamp is made of thin painted metal strips that prevent glare by diffusing light evenly. The basic shape of the shade is similar to that of the lamp designed for the corridors of the head office building of the National Pensions Institute.
