Vitra Tip Ton RE Chair

The Vitra Tip Ton RE is a new twist on the ever popular Tip Ton dining chair. It still is a solid plastic chair with forward-tilt action that is stackable, but the new RE version is made out of recycled material.

The Tip Ton name refers to the two types of sitting experiences - from a normal position or tilted a few degrees forward, where it then stays in place. The innovation behind this seemingly simple feature lies in the skid base, which rises at a nine-degree angle. The forward-tilt sitting position, until now the preserve of office chairs, straightens the pelvis and spine and thus improves circulation to the abdominal & back muscles.

Tip Ton is an outstanding dining table or occasional home-office solution and, thanks to its stackability, it is also ideal for use in restaurants, conference and meeting spaces and schools.
