HAG Capisco Puls 8010 Office Chair FAQs
What’s the difference between the 8010 and 8020 models?
• The 8010 has a plastic saddle seat with a narrow centre cushion.
• The 8020 adds a full seat cushion over the plastic, offering a slightly softer surface while keeping the same ergonomics
Is it basically the same as the classic Capisco chair?
No — you get the same iconic saddle design, HÅG inBalance® tilt mechanism, and the freedom to sit forwards, sideways, or backwards but the Puls 8010 is made from plastic with streamlined upholstery rather than being fully upholstered.
What adjustments can I make?
You can adjust:
• Seat height (150 mm, 200 mm or 265 mm gas lift)
• Seat depth and backrest height
• Tilt tension (and lock in two positions) .

• 150 mm: ideal if you’re under ~165 cm (seat height ~395–525 mm).
• 200 mm: for most people (~470–655 mm).
• 265 mm: best if you use a sit–stand desk (~555–785 mm). A foot ring is recommended for the taller setup.
Can I add a headrest later?
No, there is no headrest available for this model.
Can I switch to a cushioned seat?
Absolutely. You can upgrade from the 8010 to a 8020 seat cushion seamlessly, adding comfort whilst keeping the 8010 frame.
